Bleeding Heart April

A friend said one day

“I hate them.  They remind me of old ladies.”

But how on earth can a heart be full of hate

Towards your leafy, graceful lines?

I hope you weren’t listening.

    Exactly — how can one hate bleeding hearts? One of our first perennials to bloom, and so pretty with tulips!
